On Halloween we arrived at a house that seemed to be on the edge of the earth because it took us forever to get there, and when I occasionally looked out the window all I saw were trees and fields and horses...

When I walked in it was almost as if I were walking into a masquerade--there were plenty of people dressed up. I quickly threw on my costume, which was a bumble bee. Within fifteen to twenty minutes there were so many people at the party that it was impossible to walk through the living room. Most of the people that were dressed up were women, which wasn't surprising. While I was there I saw bambi, a witch that kept reversing her costume from black to white, a black kitty, an immortal warrior from the movie 300, a sexy cop, a nurse... My favorite was the immortal warrior.

Nothing significant happened, unfortunately. I do remember bambi swallowed the worm at the bottle of the tequila bottle by accident and almost threw it up all over the table.

He wrapped his arms around me, kissing me sweetly on the cheek. I turned to look at him and returned his smile. He gently placed a hand on my cheek, savoring every moment. Then I felt his warm lips on mine, kissing me with a fervor passion. His mouth moved up to my ear, and I shivered. He whispered with the softest voice, "I love you." I knew instantly that I loved him back, but I couldn't bring myself to say it. It had been a short while since we ended up together; a mere four months. Although for some odd reason, I felt that I could spend the rest of my life with this man with no complaints. I knew that was rather irrational thinking, but my intuitive side was strong at this point. I gave in and confessed my irrevocable love to him. It felt amazing.

I decided to renovate my blog. I've deleted most of my previous posts to get a fresh start on the future. I've also got a layout of my own in the making, but who knows when I'll be able to finish it because I've been too busy lately.

I have recently got a new job. After months upon tedious months, I have finally found the perfect job. I now work on the Highline school district's website, updating and the like. And the best part: I get to work on my own time!

Eagle Eye, 2008

Yesterday I had the privilege, yes, privilege, to see the new movie Eagle Eye. It was one of those miscellaneous moments when I had the urge to see a movie, and bought a ticket to a movie that just sounded good at the box office. It actually ended up to be pretty well thought out.

Rating: C+

Director: D.J. Caruso

Starring: Shia Labeouf, Michelle Monaghan, Rosario Dawson, Billy Bob Thornton

Plot: Jerry Shaw (LaBeouf) and Rachel Holloman (Monaghan) are two strangers thrown together by a mysterious phone call from a woman they have never met. Threatening their lives and family, she pushes Jerry and Rachel into a series of increasingly dangerous situation, using the technology of everyday life to track and control their every move. As the situation escalates, these two ordinary people become the country's most wanted fugitives, who must work together to discover what is really happening -– and more importantly, why.

My thoughts: I'm not too soft for Shia Labeouf, for one thing. He seems to always play the same rolls in movies; an average guy who is thrown into a situation that is bizarre and unreal. Although he plays the roll well, I just can't warm up to him. Even though Labeouf isn't one of my favorite actors, Eagle Eye still KICKED ASS. The action scenes, for one thing. I love car chases. Not to mention the foot chases were full of excitement as well. This is a movie that doesn't stop to let the audience stop relax and think things through very often. The plot continues to go through twists and turns throughout the entirety of it. As more details and clues are thrown in, the viewer realizes there's more to the story than originally thought. Although one thing I did not enjoy too much about this movie was that it was very far fetched. In some parts, I actually found it quite preposterous. I'm not going to say that some of the things that happened weren't possible, but they're not easy to believe. If you ignore these flaws, the movie will be rather enjoyable. The acting is perfect, and the story is full and complete. It is definitely one of the better action movies to come out so far this year.

books

I have just finished reading Twilight by Stephenie Meyer; it is amazing! Definitely one of my favorite books of all time, I cannot wait to read the rest of the series!

I typically do not like vampires, but when you involve them with forbidden love and romance, it is too entrancing. Also, the movie is coming out November 21st! I'm super excited.

I just started reading the book Clockwork Heart by Dru Pagliassotti. I bought it because it looks interesting, and just recently learned that it was steampunk, which I researched not too long ago. It seems interesting enough.

Personal Reference: The next series I want to read is The Midnight Breed by Lara Adrian.
